ok so i just fixed it lol. Go to library, go to HP, hit the pancake stack while on the game, Properties > Compatibility > check force the use of a specfic steam play compatibility tool, select proton 5.0-10. close. and run the game, it will install a bunch of direct x ♥♥♥♥ and c++, works perfect. hope this helps boyos.
